I’m Celeste Roddom, a visual artist based in Brisbane, Australia, specialising in pencil and pastel drawings that blend traditional realism with modern, abstract subjects. Entirely self-taught, my creative process is deeply intuitive—if an image evokes a strong feeling within me, I am compelled to bring it to life on paper. What I love most about my chosen mediums is their limitless potential; in a simple sheet of paper and a pencil, there are infinite possibilities waiting to emerge.
I've been drawing since the age of seven, and since 2004, I've had the privilege of pursuing my passion both personally and professionally. Art has remained the one constant, driving force in my life, and today I’m pushing my creative boundaries to make this passion a full-time career.
In 2005, I launched my artistic journey under the name The Art Chick, where I successfully sold original works, prints, and commissions. Around that time, I also immersed myself in wedding and portrait photography, capturing moments at over 20 weddings across Australia. However, in 2014, I decided to refocus solely on my true passion—drawing. I rebranded to my maiden name, Celeste Roddom, and have since showcased my work in a number of successful exhibitions across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
As I continue to grow this venture, I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support from my family, friends, and dedicated followers who have stood by me through every stage of this journey. I look forward to what the future holds for my art, and I’m excited to explore new creative horizons.
